Enrollment

We are currently open for enrollment for children ages 3-5 years old (PreK)

We are in the process of enrolling 2 year olds for the fall 2023

Our Educational Philosophy

Little Lambs Preschool provides a unique play-based learning environment with the Mother Goose Time curriculum.

Our nurturing and Bible-based program unfolds the authentic spirit and character of each child while educating their hearts and minds.  Our teachers prepare children to learn confidently for the rest of their lives and to give generously and joyfully to others.

Our curriculum focuses on activity-based settings in a diverse and co-educational community that emphasizes responsibility, stimulates collaboration, and promotes mutual respect.

Research-based approach to learning

The Experience Curriculum from Mother Goose Time applies child development theories and brain research to a unique model of teacher support, child experience and family engagement.

Your child is an active participant in education

As children express interests, teachers adapt learning experiences to embrace and further these interests.  Our activities and projects provoke creative thinking and are simply a starting point for a child’s imagination.

Adaptive learning

Teachers adapt learning experiences based on observation to support a child’s intellectual and social growth.  Learning is a social process based on trust, respect and encouragement. A teacher is an observer, supporter, and guide that brings wisdom and thoughtfulness to the child’s unique intellectual exploration.

Environment is the third teacher

Children construct knowledge by exploring their environment.  They collect information and learn about the topic through hands-on discovery and investigation.  Throughout the day, children are exposed to books, play-based activities, and materials that reinforce the topic of the day.

FAQ

Normal hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.  We have early drop off at 8:00am and late pick up to 6:00pm should parents need to extend regular school hours.  Little Lambs offers a variety of programs, such as: 5, 3, or 2 full or half days.

We serve children from 2 to 5 years of age, pre-kindergarten.

Enrollment is on-going and a child may enter at any time during the year.  Parents can fill out the contact form below to find out about availability and space.

Little Lamb uses the brightwheel app to communicate information to parents such as: mood of child, amount of food/lunch child ate, books read, songs and music sang, potty schedule, activities, outdoor play time, pictures and videos.

We endeavor to keep the ratio no more than 8 students per teacher.  Oftentimes, it may be even fewer for our 3-5 year olds. For our 2 year olds it will never be more than 6 students per teacher.

Yes!  It is our goal to keep each child with a food allergy safe and to honor identified food restrictions to best of our ability.   In order to best meet the children’s special dietary needs, it is essential that the center staff and parents work closely together.  Parents should discuss it with the Director and the child’s teachers upon enrollment.  Parents must submit written documentation with specific guidelines for addressing each special type of dietary need and/or food allergy.

The toys and classrooms are sanitized in the beginning of the day, as well as at the end of the day.  Teachers follow a detailed checklist and sign off upon cleaning.  Toys and surface areas are sanitized by the mandated 1:9 ratio bleach to water solution.

We do have a potty-trained prerequisite for 3-5 year olds. Our 2 year olds do not need to be potty trained.
